While at ASU, she earned a degree in Pre-Professional Biology with a minor in Spanish, and graduated summa cum laude with Honors. She went on to receive her doctorate of dental surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis where she graduated as one of the top 10 students in her class. Dr. Schmidt has 10 years of experience in both private practice and public health clinics. She also has a passion for mission work, and has travelled on dental missions trips to Ivory Coast West Africa, Ecuador, and Haiti. She currently lives in Conway, AR with her husband and two young children. You can usually find her spending her weekends cheering on the Hogs or attending church with family.
