BMRHC School- Based Health Centers
BMRHC operates five School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs), which provide various healthcare services to elementary, middle, and high school students on or near school campuses. These SBHCs are in the Jasper, Searcy County – Marshall, Nemo Vista-Center Ridge, Quitman, and South Side Bee Branch School Districts. SBHCs partner with local school districts and coordinate with school administration, school nurses, and counselors.
BMRHC’s SBHCs are open to the general community and offer many of the same services as other BMRHC health center locations. They are staffed with experienced Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioners.
School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs) offer convenience for both students and parents. Students can often be assessed, treated, and returned to class without leaving school, while parents typically do not need to take time off work for their sick or injured child. Parents can also join their child’s appointment virtually if they choose.
